Male Perspectives in Bathroom Design Ideas
Trends in bathroom design ideas have clearly changed in recent years.
There has been a definite leaning towards ultra personalization and preference in décor. The sometimes tough call is balancing the elements of functionality adequate comfort.
In bathroom design ideas of the past there was little and mostly no middle ground. Bathrooms in most homes gave an immediately recognizable indication of those who lived in a particular house.
If a couple had two bathrooms, the larger one was frilly-feminine and primarily used by the female. The guy got the tiny bath down the hall. Its décor defined of a towel and soap-on-a-rope.
Most bathroom design ideas for families had two or three baths. The kids got the largest bath located in a central spot in the house. Mom’s bath was smaller and again frilly-feminine.

As always, Dad got the tiny bath down the hall. No more soap-on-a-rope for him though, the kids made it into a boat-on-a-rope. Somehow the poor fellow always gets left out of the bathroom design ideas equation.
But, that was then ... and it’s time to move over, this is now. The master-suite has arrived in bathroom design ideas for homes. Soap-on-a-rope may be a thing of the past, but so are the days of unaccommodating bathroom décor that didn’t consider male tastes.
The master-suite concept in bathroom designs literally allows room for both the tastes of male and female style preferences. There is enough space for two sinks and cabinets for each to store grooming products and accessories.
It seems finally that architects, builders and interior designers have finally realized that men use hairdryers, more than one hair-care product, and actually have their own preferences in soaps, shampoos and fragrances. You’d think that being professionals in bathroom design ideas, they could have been a little quicker.
Considering that if asked, nearly all men would have personal preferences and strong opinions about bathroom design ideas let’s give them the opportunity to share them. It can’t hurt to at least learn about their ideas. After all, they’ve certainly had enough time to think about them.
Hypothetically, let’s say we ask the average guy about his thoughts on bathroom design ideas if anyone were interested. First responses would probably be standard ... "You’re asking me?"
At this point, remind him that hypothetically means pretend. If he still doesn’t get it simply by saying "let’s play like we’re getting a brand new bathroom and you get to have some say about it".
Continue this hypothetical journey into the male mind about bathroom designs when he regains consciousness. Reassure him that hell has not frozen over and that he is not dreaming. Tell him that it’s like that test thing the Emergency Broadcast System does on television ... without a doubt, that’s a concept he’ll understand.

Remember that these questions relate to the male opinion only. Tough luck, but those are the rules in this original bathroom designs game. No answer is right or wrong for these questions. However, for future reference, if his response matches the Yes response his vote counts, no votes for responses matching No.
